Marina expansion now complete
To accommodate the increased demand for quality marina berths in Auckland, we've constructed a 32 berth expansion. The 32 new berths brings the total number of berths at Fairway Bay to 85, including berths that can accomodate multi hull vessels up to 20M.

Inner Pier (East) Extension
There will be 28 new premium fingered berths catering for a wide range of monohull and multihull vessels, ideally located in the sheltered inner basin of the marina.
The Penlink Corridor
The Penlink motorway connection works are expected to get underway in late 2022 and be completed by late 2026. Penlink will form a vital transport link in North Auckland as more people live and work in Silverdale, Whangaparāoa and the Hibiscus Coast. It’s expected to ease traffic. It's estimated there’ll be a reduction in travel time of 25 minutes from Auckland’s CBD.
The new two-lane road and shared walking and cycling path will provide better travel choices and improved travel times between Whangaparāoa and wider Auckland. It’s great news for the Whangaparāoa community and Fairway Bay Marina!
